Contributor License Agreement

Thank you for your interest in contributing to a Puppet project!

Before you start contributing to our projects, you will need to sign our Contributor License Agreement. You can review the full text of the license on the next page after you select whether you are signing as an individual or as a company. The only exception to this process is for certain trivial contributions that fall under our Trivial Patch Exemption Process.

If you are signing as an individual, please click the "Sign for Myself" button. We still recommend that you talk to your employer (if applicable) before signing the CLA, since some employment agreements may have restrictions on your contributions to other projects. If you are entering this agreement as an individual, you represent that you are legally entitled to grant the license. If your employer(s) has rights to intellectual property that you create, such as your contributions, you represent that you have received permission to make contributions on behalf of that employer, that your employer has waived such rights for your contributions to Puppet projects, or that your employer has executed a separate Corporate CLA with Puppet.

If you are signing on behalf of a company, please click the "Sign for my Company" button. If you are entering this Agreement on behalf of an entity, you represent that you are legally entitled to grant the license. You represent further that each employee of the entity that submits contributions is authorized to submit such contributions on behalf of the entity.

We recommend that you read the text of the Contributor License Agreement before starting this process. If you want to make changes to the agreement or have any questions, please contact the CLA Submissions Team before signing this agreement.
